Did You Know?
A 2009 U.S. Department of Education Report concluded that students had superior test results and retained more information when being instructed online as compared to conventional face to face instruction. We are proud to be one of the first firms in the country to offer one-on-one SAT tutoring through an online platform, as well as to offer students the option of a blended program, which would combine face-to-face sessions with online sessions.
How Does it Work?
We start by sending the student a diagnostic test to take that enables us to determine the student's strengths and weaknesses. We then establish a program for the student. Once the program is set, we like to meet with students via our internet platform once a week for one-and-a-half hours (90 minutes). The first half hour is spent reviewing the homework, and the rest of the time is spent covering new material. The session is recorded and available within 24 hours after the session has been completed, and stays available as long as a student's account is active. Parents also receive an email after the completion of the session that summarizes the session and notifies them of the next week's homework assignment. Parents also have access to the recorded sessions. Sessions are scheduled in two ways. Either, the student or parent create accounts and link them to each other using our website and then request session times through their accounts, or you can call the office (800-575-0950) and we will schedule the sessions for you.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our online tutoring service costs $125 an hour, but since we meet for 1.5 hours at a time, the cost per session is $187.50. A typical program ranges from 8 to 10 sessions. We do not require a minimum number of sessions and prefer to give you an estimate of the number of sessions after we have the chance to assess the students diagnostic test and craft an individualized test preparation plan.

“First Choice College Placement was the best investment my parents made. They agreed. The support and follow up were great. They helped me through the entire college acceptance process. I could not have done it without them.”
