We used First Choice College Placement for our two daughters and found the preparation to be excellent. The quality of... the instruction and materials was outstanding, and we really appreciated the flexibility and personalized service we received. Our daughter who took the SAT had a 150+ point improvement on her actual SAT even though she had other prep courses before starting First Choice. With only 4 tutoring sessions prior to taking the SAT a second time, our daughter's score increased 30 points in... critical reading, 90 points in mathematics and 80 points in writing. The tutor was great; he was very patient and encouraging. Being better prepared took most of the anxiety away at the time of the test. We had a wonderful experience at First Choice College Placement. First choice made it convenient to schedule... appointments and were very accommodating when we needed to change the time. The practice SAT tests given at regular intervals were extremely helpful. My son totally connected with his tutor Malcolm. He was able to motivate my son to study and gave him homework every week to enhance the lessons he was learning. The SAT tutoring was so successful my sons score increased over 400 points!!!I would highly recommend their services and think it was money very well spent. I was searching for a SAT tutor for my daughter and I happened to find First Choice. I made a phone call on a Saturday... and to my surprise Steve responded and returned my call in such a timely manner. He was very polite and patient. On my first session I met Steve , who happened to be the tutor for my daughter , he is such a kind, patient and polite gentleman. Steve is very understanding of high schoolers and treated my daughter with such respect. Steve not only explained some of the confusing concepts in Math but also attempts to build her confidence, at every session that she attends. I would not hesitate to recommend James and Steve to any parent of a high schooler about to take their SAT. My only problem is that I did not find First Choice much earlier.read more
